2026 Xinyi Symphony Orchestra Annual Performance
Xinyi Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jiang Zhiyi - Taipei National Concert Hall
Program Info: This concert is led by conductor Jiang Zhiyi, collaborating with the Xinyi Symphony Orchestra along with several musicians and choirs, presenting a diverse repertoire spanning classical, opera, and cross-genre pop. The opening feature is Mozart's Symphony No. 25 in G minor, followed by violist Zhuang Mengxun performing Humair's 'Viola and a Hundred Florets,' and soprano Liu Mengjie presenting selected operas from 'Lucia de Lamemore' and 'The Flower of the League.' Erhu player Chiang Chia-Jui, who returned from the US, will perform several adapted Mandarin and Taiwanese classics: 'Moon Lady at the Zenith', 'Thank You to the Heartless', and 'Li Bochan's Original Intention' (Selected Works). The band will present the theme song from 'Mission: Impossible' and several classic Mandarin and Taiwanese hits by the Xinyi Choir. The entire concert showcases a rich and diverse musical style, offering fans a wonderful and captivating auditory feast.
