What would the film be without its music? It controls our emotions, raises the pulse before anything happens, and anchors itself so deeply in our memory that a few notes are enough to bring entire worlds back to life.
The filmmakers therefore see film music as exactly what it really is: great orchestral music – and has been doing so for two decades. The orchestra is therefore celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special "best of": Look forward to unforgettable melodies from blockbusters such as Jurassic Park and Mission Impossible , delicate accordion and guitar sounds from The Fabulous World of Amélie and Chocolat and revel in the Hollywood melting of Gone with the Wind. You will also be surprised by the favourite film songs of our two guests Anna Veit and Danny Shelton and other favourites of the orchestra.
