Concert premiere of the film with a symphony orchestra
The main film of the 11th International Film Music and Multimedia Festival Soundtrack Poděbrady 2026 will be Dark Blue World. The film will premiere in concert form. The screening of the film will be accompanied by a live soundtrack by the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Adam Klemens.
The award-winning Czech war drama directed by Jan Svěrák and written by Zdeněk Svěrák is about Czechoslovak fighters in the RAF during World War II. The music for the film combines the nostalgic period melodies of Jaroslav Ježek with the emotional scenic music of Ondřej Soukup.
