Program Info: In 2026, FIMUCITÉ 20 will once again feature the Santa Cruz Municipal Band (Banda Municipal de Música de Santa Cruz de Tenerife). This outstanding ensemble will be performing a free concert The Win Band Melodies on 9th July at 19:00 in the Plaza del Príncipe, which is located in the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In keeping with the theme of this year, the concert pays tribute to many of Hollywood’s Oscar-winning films. There really is no better way to enjoy a summer’s evening out with family. Conducted by Ismael Brajim, the concert includes arrangements by Juan Antonio Domínguez Martín and David Hernández Herrera.
The programme features some of the most iconic scores from cinema’s history, including: Ben-Hur, Psycho, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Exodus, Jaws, Taxi Driver, Chariots of Fire, Lord of the Rings, and Braveheart. This musical journey through Oscar-winning films invites the audience to relive truly momentous films from the silver screen through their iconic soundtracks.
