Conceived as the closing concert of this eighth edition, “The Age of Empires” offers a journey through some of the most epic film scores set during the eras of great civilizations and historical conflicts. The program will evoke titles such as Miklós Rózsa - Ben-Hur Hans Zimmer, Lisa Gerrard - Gladiator James Horner - Troy Hans Zimmer - The Last Samurai Roque Baños - Alatriste Trevor Jones - The Last of the Mohicans
The audience is invited to travel from the Hellenic era to the Roman Colosseum and the Battle of Rocroi through music of great narrative power and symphonic spectacle. The evening will also feature a special appearance by composer Trevor Jones .
