Program Info: A titan of film music, the late Italian composer Ennio Morricone is the inspiration behind an afternoon devoted to iconic scores—particularly his compositions for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Once Upon a Time in the West; Cinema Paradiso—as well as music from major successes such as Gladiator, Titanic, The Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars.
Founded over 20 years ago, the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra regularly performs in some of Spain’s most prestigious venues and has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians, including Krystian Zimerman, Nicola Benedetti, Alexei Volodin, Boris Andrianov, Radovan Vlatkovic, and Maxim Rysanov.
