As every summer, the festival aims to liven up the city by offering major popular outdoor events, when the heat of the day gradually gives way to the coolness of the evening. Under the direction of Didier Benetti, and in the company of tenor Forian Laconi, the Montpellier Opera Choir and the Montpellier National Orchestra perform an anthology of great pages from the symphonic repertoire by Brahms, Borodin, Verdi and a few others, but also excerpts from music composed for the cinema, which have now become classics.
