Program Info: Join Trinity Concert Band for a joyful summer evening of live music in the beautiful surroundings of All Saints Church, Wokingham.
As part of our 25th anniversary year, this special concert brings together some of our favourite repertoire alongside the return of much-loved guest vocal duo Indigo May. Their stunning vocal blend and captivating stage presence have made them firm favourites with Trinity audiences, and we’re delighted to welcome them back for this celebratory collaboration.
Our Sounds of Summer concert promises an entertaining and uplifting programme, featuring music from stage and screen, swing classics, and evocative works inspired by land and sea.
The programme includes: Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein - The Sound of Music – a delightful medley of beloved melodies from the classic film John Williams - Far and Away – a sweeping and cinematic arrangement capturing the spirit and adventure of the much-loved film score Al McKay - September (Earth, Wind & Fire) – a brilliant, feel-good favourite guaranteed to get toes tapping Benny Goodman - Sing, Sing, Sing – the iconic swing classic that never fails to bring the house to life Freddie Marcury and others - Queen Forever – a spectacular symphonic tribute arranged by Band Sergeant David Johnson, featuring Flash Gordon, Under Pressure, Don’t Stop Me Now, Love of My Life, Fat Bottomed Girls and the legendary Bohemian Rhapsody. Leonard Bernstein - West Side Story – a thrilling medley of unforgettable music from Leonard Bernstein’s masterpiece Malcolm Arnold - The Padstow Lifeboat – a stirring and characterful tribute to Cornwall’s proud maritime heritage
