Anna Lapwood with the Philharmonia Orchestra
The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Kerem Hasan - Elbphilharmonie, Großer Saal
Program Info: Philharmonia Orchestra conductor Kerem Hasan I Vocalisti ChorWerk Potsdam Anna Lapwood organ
The organ is somehow dusty and only something for the church? Far from it! The "Queen of Instruments" is simply great cinema. More sound magic is hard to imagine. That's why Anna Lapwood loves the organ so much. "It's incredibly exciting to experiment with different sound combinations and to have such a wide range of expression," says the Briton, who has turned millions of people into ardent organ fans. The Elbphilharmonie audience was also at her feet at her debut in October 2025. Now Hamburg doesn't have to wait much longer: In autumn 2026, Anna Lapwood will return to once again tickle great widescreen sound from the Klais organ in the Great Hall and take you into exciting new worlds of sound with interstellar sensuality and bombastic symphonic music.
