This evening, the organ will sound with the voices of famous composers, whose works have become an integral part of cult films. You will hear the music of M. Tariverdiev, who created unforgettable melodies for the film "The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!", as well as R. Sakamoto, the composer of the film "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence".
The concert will also give you a meeting with the musical heritage of those eras when cinema was not yet born. You will remember the famous chorale prelude by J. S. Bach "I call to you, Lord...", which sounds in A. Tarkovsky's film "Solaris". The magic of Handel's keyboard suite will take you into the atmosphere of the film "Barry Lyndon", and the legendary toccata by K. Bolling will revive the memories of the film "Quiet, Bass".
