Disney's "Aladdin" Film Symphony Concert

The Sound of the Earth Music and Foundation will present the Disney film music "Aladdin" at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, featuring a live performance by the local orchestra and choir Ponte Orchestra and Singers, conducted by Lin Yi-yi.

"Aladdin" won the Oscar ®️ , Golden Globe Award ®️ and the Grammys ®️ Multiple international soundtrack awards. The story takes place in the mythical country of Agrabah, where Aladdin, a street kid, has lofty ambitions and longs for a better life. Princess Jasmine is the only daughter of the Sultan king, smart and confident. She hopes to get rid of the closed life within the palace walls. A chance encounter connects the two and together they uncover the conspiracy of the evil wizard Jia Fang, who embarks on a thrilling journey to crush Jia Fang's evil plans. In his close friend Monkey Abu, and the legendary superstar Robin. With the help of Williams' voice and witty pearl-like elf, Aladdin learns to believe in himself and achieve his dreams.

The film was released in 1992 and won an Oscar ®️ Best Original Song ("A Whole New World") and Best Original Music. Legendary soundtrack master Hou Huo. Ashman and Aaron. Menken wrote several well-known songs for the film, including "Arabian Nights", "Friend Like Me" and "Prince Ali". After Ashman's death in 1991, Tim. Rice has written a number of additional songs, most notably "One Jump Ahead" and "A Whole New World".
