Program Info: On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Lingehaven will once again be the atmospheric backdrop for the Lingehaven concert. This year everything is dedicated to film music under the title Lingehaven at the Movies.Conductor Jules van Hessen presents a special program with exclusively classical film music: recognizable masterpieces and lesser-known gems, each and every one of them music that touches and moves.
Special guest is the impressive soprano Josephina Louise Hoogstad. She graduated from Fontys University of the Arts, where she received the prestigious Jacques de Leeuw Prize for young top talent in her graduation year. Her further studies took her to Italy, where she played leading roles and won prizes at international competitions.
Josephina sang on major international stages and worked as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as Metropole Orkest and Sophia's Vereeniging. She also appeared in the Dutch feature film De Oost and made an international impression with opera repertoire such as Tosca and Carmen.
With Lingehaven at the Movies, the Lingehaven Concert 2026 promises to be another magical summer evening full of cinematic emotion, musical class and unforgettable moments on the water.
