Program Info: With "Kids meet Classic", the Vogtland Philharmonic wants to get children and young people excited about classical music and arouse their interest in learning an instrument and has therefore been offering specially tailored concerts since 1996. In this special "music lesson", many children experience the impressive sound of a professional symphony orchestra live for the first time. Different topics for the different age groups, which were designed in cooperation with music teachers, introduce the children to interesting and exciting orchestral music. Loosening up moderations provide interesting facts about the instruments and the orchestra as well as about the music and its creation. Many positive reactions impressively prove that soon even the "cool guys" will be fascinated by the orchestral sound.
Supported by its " Förderverein ", the Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra reaches several thousand children every year and thus cultivates the valuable promotion of young talent.
