Program Info: Zlatomir Fung rewrote the history books in 2019 by becoming the youngest ever First Prize winner at the International Tchaikovsky Competition’s Cello Division. The American cellist, commended by Chicago Classical Review for his ‘warmly expressive’ tone, has since confirmed his place among the finest artists of his generation with stellar career highlights, including acclaimed debuts with the New York Philharmonic and Cleveland Orchestras and a season as artist-in-residence with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
