In its world premiere, the Universal Brass Ensemble, made up of brass and percussion teachers from the Universal Symphony Orchestra and conducted by José Martínez Colomina, offers a vibrant journey through some of the most epic and unmistakable pages of film music. The programme will bring together fanfares and emblematic compositions such as
Miklós Rózsa - "The Entrance of the Charioteers" from "Ben-Hur"
Roque Baños - The fanfare of "Alatriste"
John Williams - "Summon the Heroes"
in an evening designed to celebrate the strength, solemnity and evocative power of the great symphonic repertoire linked to the big screen.
