Program Info: - NEW PROGRAM -
After a triumphant tour in 2025 that won over more than 100,000 spectators, The Music of John Williams & Hans Zimmer in Symphonic Concert is back on the bill throughout France in February & March 2027 to make you (re)live a new unforgettable musical adventure! On the program: Interstellar, Jurassic Park, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Inception, Star Wars or Pirates of the Caribbean... Rediscover your favourite film music performed by more than 70 musicians on stage! Under the direction of conductor Nicolas Simon, the Yellow Socks Orchestra - a French symphony orchestra specialising in film music - will perform live the greatest music of these two genius composers.
John Williams, the undisputed master of orchestration, revolutionised film music in the 1970s. Composer of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, he has written the scores of the greatest masterpieces of the 7th art: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Indiana Jones... His unforgettable melodic themes, recognisable from the first notes, have restored the symphony orchestra to its former glory in the cinema. Awarded 5 Oscars and 54 nominations, Williams remains a living legend whose work crosses generations.
Hans Zimmer embodies modernity and audacity. A German composer who became a naturalised American, he overturned the codes of film music by merging monumental orchestrations and electronic sounds. His collaborations with Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar) and Ridley Scott (Gladiator) have marked the history of contemporary cinema. Awarded 2 Oscars, Zimmer sculpts immersive atmospheres that transform each scene into a real emotional vertigo.
