Artistic partner and one of the world’s most renowned violinists, James Ehnes, returns to Hayes Hall to join the Naples Philharmonic under the baton of Artistic and Music Director Alexander Shelley for a program of five film-related works that stir the gamut of human emotion.
Known for his steely virtuosity, lush lyricism and profound emotion as a soloist performing with some of the most illustrious orchestras in the world and the 2021 Gramophone Artist of the Year, Ehnes brings his rich, warm tone and passion to a new concerto written for him by the noted film composer, James Newton Howard.
