Led by saxophonist Patrizio Destriere, this unique jazz concert reimagines the music of Ennio Morricone through a contemporary lens, honouring one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. Moving beyond the cinema screen, it reveals the emotion, rhythm, and sense of wonder embedded in his music. Along with pianist Fernando Ramsés Peña Diaz, bassist Vincenzo Quirico, and drummer Giacomo De Bona, the quartet offers fresh interpretations of iconic film scores, uncovering the emotional depth and rhythmic versatility of Morricone’s work beyond its cinematic origins.
