Gautier Capuçon with his cello ensemble - Vaduzer Saal
Program Info: Gautier Capuçon, cello Anouchka Hack, violoncello Julia Hagen, cello Charles Hervet, violoncello Aurélien Pascal, Violoncello Caroline Sypniewski, cello Jeein You, Violoncello
The internationally acclaimed French cello star Gautier Capuçon will be a guest at the Vaduz Hall with his Ensemble Capucelli, where he will make his Liechtenstein debut. He has performed with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic and the Vienna Philharmonic and is a regular at festivals such as the BBC Proms and the Verbier Festival.
Capuçon is committed to promoting young talent. This idea gave rise to Capucelli, in which six former prize winners of his program have come together to form an outstanding ensemble. The fact that the musicians are now much more than young talents is shown by Julia Hagen, one of the most promising soloists in Europe and scholarship holder of the Music Academy in Liechtenstein.
The evening's programme is varied and rousing: audience favourites such as Rossini's William Tell, Strauss' Pizzicato Polka, Ravel's Boléro for cello ensemble, Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountain King or Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers become concert highlights. A real highlight for cello fans and lovers of classical masterpieces.
