Released by Disney/Pixar in 2017, 'Viva' was a success around the world and conquered audiences with the saga of the boy Miguel, who tries to leave the Land of the Dead, where his ancestors live, to return to the real world. While the film will be projected, an orchestra and several singers will interpret the soundtrack live, along with a series of special effects, choreographies and interventions will take over the stage and the audience of BTG Pactual Hall, in São Paulo, from May 16.
'Viva – Life is a Party' represents another step in the partnership between Disney and the Aventura, by Aniela Jordan and Luiz Calainho , currently the largest theater producer of Brazil, responsible for the hits 'Disney Princess , the Spectacle' and 'Pixar in Concert' , in addition to musicals such as 'The Sound of Music', 'Elis, the Musical', 'Mamma Mia!', 'Black Voices', 'Hair', 'Vamp', among many others. The show is presented by BTG Pactual, with support from Atlas Schindler, via the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture.
"The film connects many generations through music and emotions that are universal. It is truly an experience that touches the hearts of all ages. We always wanted to make this immersive experience with 'Viva', its songs and its characters unforgettable', celebrates artistic director Aniela Jordan .
In this audiovisual and theatrical odyssey, the audience will be able to follow the trajectory of Miguel, who dreams of becoming a talented musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz, despite the fact that music has been banned in his family. To prove your talent, Miguel goes to the picturesque Land of the Dead, following a mysterious sequence of events. Along the way, he meets the trickster Hector and together they set out on a journey a journey to uncover the truth behind Miguel's family history.
