Program Info: With this program, the Euregio Youth Orchestra brings a sparkling ode to young talent. The young stars of the orchestra interpret music by composers who were themselves recognised as prodigies at an early age. Find out what greats like Shostakovich and Rachmaninoff sounded like when they were teenagers — and judge for yourself. This music leaves no doubt: their exceptional talent pointed to a great future early on, like twinkling stars in the firmament of classical music. In addition, you will be introduced to the compelling film music of Erich Wolfgang Korngold, often praised as perhaps the greatest musical prodigy in history — alongside that other Wolfgang. A fascinating musical journey, brought by young musicians who were allowed to perform in Vienna's most beautiful concert halls in the summer of 2025 and returned as winners of the international Summa Cum Laude Festival.
