Prague Film Orchestra - Veľké koncertné štúdio Slov. rozhlasu
Program Info: The Prague Film Orchestra, a symphonic musical ensemble founded by conductor Jiří Korynt and Zdeňka Koryntová in 2004, has specialised in concert performances of film, series, musical and video game music throughout its existence. During each season, the ensemble performs in concert halls, cultural houses and cinemas, especially in the Czech Republic and simultaneously in Slovakia. The orchestra, consisting of an average of 70 players, led by conductor Jiří Korynt, always emphasises maximum authenticity of expression and performance of individual compositions. In its extensive and constantly expanding repertoire of several hundred titles, one can find works by famous composers such as John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Elmer Bernstein, Bernard Hermann, Howard Shore, Alan Silvestri, Hans Zimmer, John Powell, David Arnold and many others. Songs and suites from films from the Star Wars saga, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Stargate, The Magnificent Seven, Psycho, Back to the Future, The Avengers, Pearl Harbor and others are among the regulars in the programs of individual concerts. However, in dramaturgically sensitively selected programs, one or more premieres appear almost with regularity at each concert.
Thanks to the large genre range, which is almost unlimited, everyone will find "their own" at the concerts.
