Drama of living in the 20th century
Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kentaro Kawase - Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater Concert Hall
Program Info: Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra Kentaro Kawase, conductor Bomb Sori, violin
Music director Kentaro Kawase depicts the drama of composers who lived in the 20th century. Yasushi Akutagawa's "Triptych" is a masterpiece full of dynamism. In Korngold's Violin Concerto, the bomb sori weaves a dense romance with the scent of film music. Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5 is an eternal problem. The cries of turbulent times are entrusted to the fierce sound of the famous philharmonic. (Music journalist / Yoichi Iio)
