Ludovico Einaudi
Ludovico Einaudi, Leo Einaudi and a group of exceptional musicians - Vorst Nationaal
Program Info: Renowned worldwide for albums such as 'Una Mattina', 'Divenire', and soundtracks for films such as Intouchables, Ludovico Einaudi and his son Leo Einaudi perform a richly cast concert.
Ludovico Einaudi returns to Belgium with a new show at Forest National . The world-famous Italian composer brings his entire ensemble for an evening in which his music comes to life in all its power, nuance and emotional depth.
Together with his son Leo Einaudi and a group of exceptional musicians, Einaudi allows his compositions to blossom into a rich, cinematographic sound. Expect an evening full of intensity, stillness and pure beauty.
The classically trained Einaudi gained fame among a wide audience with his soundtracks for films and television series such as 'Intouchables', 'I'm Still Here', 'Doctor Zhivago', 'Acquario' and more recently 'La Tresse' (2024) and 'A Cielo Abierto' (2024).
Einaudi breaks through completely with 'Una Mattina' and 'Divenire'. Both albums find their way to the top of the charts for classical music and the general charts. Critics praise him for his dreamy piano works and artfully orchestrated soundscapes. They quickly add him to the list of masters such as Chopin, Satie, Glass and Reich. He regularly releases solo albums in which he performs his intriguing compositions with ever-changing line-ups. Main achievements are 'I Giorni' (2001), 'Nightbook' (2009), 'In A Time Lapse' (2013), 'Taranta project' (2015), 'Elements' (2015), 'Seven Days Walking' (2019), 'Underwater' (2022) and 'The Summer Portraits' (2025).
In addition to intimate solo concerts, Einaudi also plays with ease for thousands of visitors. He tours all over the world and plays to sold-out venues everywhere. In Belgium and the Netherlands, he sells out venues time and again in no time. In London he resided for a while in the Royal Albert Hall and in France and Germany he conquered several large stadiums.
