Program Info: Young talent, big names and music that sparkles with promise: that is what the Euregio Youth Orchestra brings together in this special program. The young musicians take you to the beginnings of careers that would later change music history. You will hear works by Shostakovich and Rachmaninov, written when they were still teenagers, but already undeniably showed their exceptional talent. In addition, the compelling film music of Erich Wolfgang Korngold, often regarded as one of the greatest musical prodigies ever, can be heard. With this program, the Euregio Youth Orchestra shows how young talent and great music reinforce each other. It is not for nothing that the orchestra performed in leading halls in Vienna in the summer of 2025 and returned as the winner of the international Summa Laude Festival.
