Prague Film Orchestra - Westernové městečko Boskovice
Program Info: A unique musical experience and spectacle will be offered by the Western Symphony concert !
It is a unique performance combining music from legendary western films with live scenes from them, all in the breathtaking backdrop of the Wild West. The performance is unparalleled on a European scale. On one stage, you can watch the performances of a forty-member orchestra, singers, actors, stuntmen and top horse riders at the same time.
The fourth year of the popular Western Symphony concert will take place in the natural amphitheatre of the Western Town in Boskovice, which contains copies of historical buildings from the Wild West. The unique scene also includes breathtaking artificial waterfalls.
The show is a joint project of the western town and the Prague Film Orchestra, which focuses on famous film music and has been selling out concert halls for over 30 years. Under the direction of conductor Jiří Korynta, he will play songs from world-famous westerns, for which singers, actors, riders and stuntmen will create live scenes. The audience will thus meet their film heroes. An eagle flies over the unique scene, as a symbolic messenger from the realm of legendary stories that will never be forgotten.
ALL THE HEROES WILL ARRIVE!! The great Apache chief Winnetou arrives with his white brother Old Shatterhand. A scene from The Brave Seven will take your heart by the heart. The legendary Chingachgúk, i.e. the famous Last of the Mohicans, will also be present. Zorro, a breaker of women's hearts, will demonstrate his mastery of working with a whip. Of course, there will also be other legends from iconic films and series such as High Noon, Once Upon a Time in the West, Bonanza, Ghost Rider, or Faster Than Death.... and maybe even Lemonade Joe will come
