The Tenerife International Film Music Festival, FIMUCITÉ, celebrates its 20th anniversary in style on Sunday, July 19th with our FIMUCITÉ 20 RED CARPET GALA, conducted by Diego Navarro.
Come and enjoy the celebration of two decades of FIMUCITÉ wearing your finest red carpet look, feel the flashes of the cameras, and raise a glass with us.
We will be joined by the Tenerife Film Choir, and we will soon reveal special guests, soloists and other surprises.
The elegance of the Oscar lands on our 20th anniversary! It is an immense honor to present maestro Stephen Warbeck, one of the most versatile and award-winning composers on the international scene, whose presence at this edition of FIMUCITÉ promises to be an unforgettable milestone for lovers of the seventh art.
Oscar-winner John Corigliano will be guest of honor at FIMUCITÉ 20. This is the first time that Corigliano has participated in a film music festival, and it is a privilege for us to have this happen at FIMUCITÉ, the oldest continuously held film music festival in the world. This music giant, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, multiple Grammy Awards and Oscar winner for the unforgettable soundtrack of 'The Red Violin', has built an extraordinary career that ranges from symphonic and operatic repertoire to music for audiovisuals. Author of fundamental works such as the opera 'The Ghosts of Versailles', distinguished with the Grammy Award.
