Harold Lloyd's silent romantic comedy was one of the most financially successful films of all time until the 1940s. Harold plays a young man named Harold Meadows, who works as a tailor's apprentice in a small town. He secretly writes a book titled * The Secret of Making Love* , in which he presents himself as an expert on women—although in reality he has a crippling fear of the opposite sex. He meets and falls in love with Mary, but she wants to marry another man. In a spectacular chase, he races through the town to prevent the wedding at the last second…
