The Neko Light Orchestra is a collective of 20 composer-musicians, founded in Toulouse in 2011. A melodic rock orchestra specialising in reinterpretations of music from imaginative pop culture.
The group excels in the worlds of science fiction and fantasy such as The Lord of the Rings , Game of Thrones and the animated films of Hayao Miyazaki … Founded by Nicolas Chaccour , the collective quickly evolved into a rock band “that thinks it’s an orchestra,” reinterpreting countless soundtracks, always with the aim of creating unique, original versions.
After debuting at pop culture and geek conventions, the group quickly found its way into cinemas and then to some of the finest concert halls in France and beyond.
With over 450 concerts and 500,000 spectators to date, the group continues to cultivate its signature style and enjoys continued success with audiences.
