18 April 2026 Moscow (Russia)
Symphony of Fantasy
Sergei Akimov Symphony Orchestra - Kremlin Palace
Program Info: On April 18, 2026, the symphonic show "Symphony of Fantasy" will take place in the Great Hall of the Kremlin Palace.
Incredible fairytale worlds have always captured the human imagination. Mystical stories, full of magic and enchantment, have captivated people throughout time. This time, you'll once again hear the famous music from three main pillars of the fantasy universe: The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and The Witcher.
Since 2019, the Sergei Akimov Symphony Orchestra has been delighting audiences with concerts of film classics. Sergei is one of Russia's most promising young conductors. After graduating with honors from the Moscow Conservatory, he made a name for himself internationally as chief conductor of the RockestraLive orchestra and, of course, as a finalist in the Salzburg conducting competition (2018). He also conducted the Camerata Salzburg orchestra at the Salzburg Festival. He is also a conductor at the Moscow Operetta Theatre and the Studio for New Music. He has also studied at the Italian Opera Academy of Riccardo Muti. Since 2018, he has been a trainee conductor at the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia (artistic director V. Spivakov). In the summer of 2024, despite a wave of anti-Russian rhetoric, he sensationally won the European Conducting Competition (Greece).
The concert is hosted by Vsevolod Kuznetsov (the official voice of The Witcher and Voldemort).
