On his 11th birthday, Harry Potter discovers that he is the son of two wizards and that he himself possesses magical powers. At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he learns the spectacular sport of Quidditch and plays an exciting game of 'live' chess, while preparing to take on a dark wizard who wants to destroy him.
