Morricone conducts Morricone – The Great Music for the Cinema in the original version
Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta conducted by Andrea Morricone - Teatro Olimpico di Roma

Program Info:
"I think that, when in a hundred, two hundred years, they want to understand what we were like, it will be thanks to film music that they will discover it." This was Ennio Morricone's opinion, perhaps unaware of how indispensable his name would one day be to lovers of the Seventh Art. A bond, the one between his music and international cinema, defies time and space as we know it, making it definitively immortal. And it is from this immutable fact that the concert Morricone Conducts Morricone takes its cue: not a simple symphonic concert, but a masterful tribute from those who shared his love, his blood, his talent. All the music will be performed in its original version by the 56-piece Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta, which has collaborated on the Maestro's work since its inception, and enriched by the presence of the Nuovo Coro Lirico Sinfonico Romano. The over 100 artists on stage will be conducted by Maestro Andrea Morricone in a performance impossible to forget.

the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra has collaborated with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and has carried out its concert activities there since 2002. Since its foundation in 1994,
He has collaborated with artists such as Nicola Piovani, Luis Bacalov, Gianni Ferrio, Mariella Devia, Salvatore Accardo, Roger Waters, Bruce Springsteen, Pino Daniele, and many others.
