Program Info: The mischievous rabbit arrives in Paris... For the first time in France, come and celebrate the 35th anniversary of this legendary show in the largest cinema in the world: the mythical Grand Rex theater, all to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the irresistible Bugs Bunny!
Under the direction of George Daugherty, the 75 musicians of the Yellow Socks Orchestra will perform live the original music of 16 classic Looney Tunes animated shorts during their projection on the big screen. You'll rediscover animated masterpieces like The Seville Rabbit, What's Opera, Doc?, Baton Bunny, and Corny Concerto like you've never seen and heard them before! A new short film celebrating the 85th anniversary of Bugs Bunny as well as three new 3D Looney Tunes of Bip Bip and Coyote will be unveiled for the first time in Europe!
Created by Emmy Award-winning George Daugherty and David Ka Lik Wong, this one-of-a-kind cine-concert perfectly celebrates the zany world of Looney Tunes, magnified by the power of the symphony orchestra! The original scores of Carl Stalling and Milt Franklyn, inspired by the greatest classical composers such as Wagner, Rossini, Liszt and Strauss, will come to life under the fingers of the musicians of the Yellow Socks Orchestra.
A bridge between generations, Bugs Bunny at the Symphony allows adults to relive the delights of their childhood while introducing the beauty of classical music and classical animation to young audiences.
