Hans Zimmer, of German descent, rose to fame with "Rainbow" and has since contributed to the success and dramatic and emotional impact of numerous Hollywood mega-hits, including "Mission: Impossible II," "Gladiator," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Interstellar," and "Batman." Hans Zimmer received his eleventh Oscar nomination in 2018 for his score to Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk."
