From the Vltava to the Pirates of the Caribbean to the Titanic
Orchestra conducted by Johannes Rieger - Scharoun Theater Wolfsburg
Program Info: From the Vltava to the Pirates of the Caribbean to the Titanic Three works – three stories – a musical journey through the power and fascination of water.
"The Vltava" – a symphonic poem by Bedřich Smetana, which traces the course of the river from its source to the majestic expanse of Prague. The gentle splashing, the swelling of the current and the unstoppable power of the water are impressively reflected in the music. From the romantic closeness to nature of the Vltava River, our path continues to the open sea, where a legendary ship has become a symbol of human greatness and tragedy: the "Titanic". And finally, we dive into a world full of adventures, secrets and intrepid heroes. With the music for "Pirates of the Caribbean" we set sail towards great freedom and wild sea battles. The energetic rhythms, powerful fanfares and rousing melodies take us on a journey through storm and legends.
Exciting concert experience for children and adults aged 6 and over.
