Cultural Titans, Sculpting Our Roots
‘Titan Sculptors’ is the third concert in the SCO “Cultural Titans” concert series, a collaboration between SCO and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. This concert showcases the works of four winners of the Cultural Medallion for Art, namely Ng Eng Teng, Han Sai Por, Chng Seok Tin, and Chong Fah Cheong. These artworks, meeting the compositions of four young composers Wang Chenwei, Phang Kok Jun, Luo Maishuo, and Koh Cheng Jin, become a brand-new creation that marries Chinese music and sculptures. Together, the two media embody the beauty of Singapore, our home, and also pay tribute to all the amazing artists who have contributed to the unique culture of Singapore
