Goldfinger, Lawrence of Arabia, Gone With the Wind — imagine some of the greatest scores of The Golden Age of Hollywood, paired with contemporary favorites like Harry Potter and Mission Impossible — and you have the perfect Movie Night at the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra! Once again, Dustin and Dominique Luecke are your hosts. To top it all off, the La Crosse Youth Symphony joins the LSO, side-by-side, for Rossini’s sparking overture to The Barber of Seville — used to wonderful effect in the great 1979 Midwestern coming-of-age classic comedy, Breaking Away.

Max Steiner - Tara’s Theme from Gone with the Wind
Gioachino Rossini - Barber of Seville Overture
Miklós Rózsa - Parade of the Charioteers from Ben Hur
Maurice Jarre - Theme from Lawrence of Arabia
John Barry (arr. Richard Hayman) - Theme from Goldfinger
Max Steiner - Theme from A Summer Place
Lalo Schifrin - Theme from Mission Impossible
John Williams - Main Theme from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Sergei Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto No. 2, Op. 18 in C Minor
