The original summer blockbuster, Jaws, is a thrilling experience, with Oscar®-winning music by composer John Williams. Directed by Oscar®-winner Steven Spielberg, Jaws set the standard for thrills and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. When a dangerous great white shark attacks the beach community of Amity, the town's police chief, a young marine biologist and a grizzled shark hunter embark on a desperate mission to destroy the beast before it strikes again. In the words of Chief Brody: "You're going to need a bigger boat!"
The film will be projected onto a screen in the concert hall, and the music will be provided by the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. The film concert continues the TFO Leffassa series, in which the most famous masterpieces of the big screen come to life with the power of a symphony orchestra.
