Program Info: On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of cinema, the La Baule Festival wished to celebrate this anniversary by offering a closing concert around the most beautiful songs of French cinema: Lambert Wilson Chante .
Lambert Wilson will revive the great moments of cinema through song. He will summon legendary film melodies, unforgettable musicals, and pay a vibrant tribute to Yves Montand, a great figure of the 7th art and of song. From Renoir to Montand, from Truffaut to Demy, from Prévert to Deneuve, the singer of On connu la chanson will celebrate more than a century of songs that have marked our collective imagination. He will build a bridge between music, cinema and memory and bring this emotionally rich repertoire back to life. With elegance and intensity, Lambert Wilson invites us to relive cinema through music, through this completely new recital as a journey through the history of cinema.
This concert will be preceded by the festival's awards ceremony.
