What music is being performed? The HOGWARTS Sympho Show program features the legendary compositions of the great John Williams, composer of the first three films. He created iconic themes that have become synonymous with the series: Hedwig's Theme, Harry's Wondrous World, Leaving Hogwarts, Buckbeak's Flight, Double Trouble, and A Window to the Past.
The programme also features compositions by Patrick Doyle, who worked on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, creating a more dramatic and majestic atmosphere with The Goblet of Fire and Potter Waltz. Nicholas Hooper, composer of the fifth and sixth films, added a more lyrical and emotional tone with Fireworks - The Irish Theme and Professor Umbridge. Alexandre Desplat, who wrote the music for the final two films, composed some of the most tragic and profound themes, including Lily's Theme* and *Battle Courtyard Apocalypse. In addition, music from the extended Harry Potter universe will be featured: Hogwarts Legacy Main Theme by James Hannigan, Fantastic Beasts Main Theme by Howard Shore, Do the Hippogriff by Jarvis Cocker and, as a special treat for Potter fans, Celestina Warbeck's song You Stole My Cauldron But You Can't Have My Heart.
