The Young Classic Sound Orchestra (formerly Young Cinema Sound Orchestra) was founded as a project orchestra by Lahnor Adjei in 2004. The approximately 80-member symphony orchestra is composed primarily of talented young instrumentalists, as well as professional musicians from the Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, and Mannheim regions. The goal of the Young Classic Sound Orchestra is to inspire young audiences, in particular, with high-quality, unique musical events for symphonic choral and orchestral music. Not only an attractive program with well-known melodies, for example from the world of cinema, but above all a special multimedia show with image animations and lighting technology, combined with professional theatrical presentation, immerse concertgoers even more deeply in the "fantastic world of music."
