Walt Disney's Hits. Children's Day Concert
Torunska Orkiestra Symfoniczna conducted by Ariel Ludwiczak - UMK Hall
The Toruń Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ariel Ludwiczak and together with invited vocalists – Magdalena Wasylik, Sylwia Banasik-Smulska and Marcin Jajkiewicz, invites young and adult music lovers to a new edition of the concert dedicated to songs from Disney fairy tales.
The concert repertoire will include both classic songs, still fresh in the memories of many people, as well as newer songs from animations from a few years ago. Among others, there will be " I Really Want It" from The Little Mermaid , "The Circle of Life" from The Lion King , "The Whole World Under the Paw" from The Jungle Book and "The Wonderful World" from Aladdin . The underwater hit "Shining the Crab Tamatoa" from Moana will be performed , as well as "Ice in Summer" - Olaf the Snowman's Dream from Frozen.
In the program we will hear songs that have become a permanent fixture in contemporary pop culture: the song Wierna, wała i praw (Faithful, Brave and Right) performed by Zuza Jabłońska for the film Mulan or the absolute hit Nowe dni (New Days ) sung by Kasia Popowska for the fairy tale Zaplątani ( Tangled) .
In addition, hits from the films Pocahontas ( Colors of the Wind ), Tarzan ( You'll Be in My Heart ), Hercules ( I Don't Fear the Road ), Beauty and the Beast ( This History Runs ) will guarantee viewers not only joy and a wonderful feast for the ears, but also a sentimental journey into the depths of the most beautiful fairy tales in the history of cinema.
We are convinced that the sound of favorite songs from well-known and appreciated animations, thanks to their symphonic performance, will delight and awaken the child in each of us.
