Man in the Wild is a live film concert with unique images of the uninhabited coasts that Jaco Benckhuijsen visited with the sea kayak for his book 'Man in the Wild'. On stage, fragments of piano sounds, swaying grooves and electronic soundscapes resound, while on the screen images of black lava beaches pass by, light that reflects on the waves and storms that transform the sea into a moving dune landscape.
On Friday 17 October, pianist, composer and adventurer Jaco Benckhuijsen and percussionist Joost Lijbaart will take his audience on a journey through the highlights of his experiences.
