Experience a fascinating journey through billions of years of evolution, accompanied by breathtaking music! The award-winning documentary series Life on Our Planet, directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg and is narrated by Morgan Freeman (in the Czech version by Zbyšek Horák), is presented in a unique form with a live orchestra. On September 27, 2025, you can experience this unique audiovisual experience at the Prague Congress Center.
From production companies Silverback Films and Amblin Television, Life on Our Planet is a compelling look at the evolution of life on Earth. Eight episodes take viewers through geological eras, from the first single-celled organisms to the complex life we know today. The series focuses on extinct species and shows life’s epic struggle to survive and conquer our planet.
The combination of real images and photorealistic CGI animation brings prehistoric worlds to life and offers an unparalleled spectacle. The spectators travel through time and meet not only ancient creatures, but also modern species that are deeply rooted in the past.
The music for this groundbreaking natural history series was composed by acclaimed film score composer Lorne Balfe. His impressive compositions are performed by a live orchestra of over 60 members, the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, conducted by principal conductor Martin Šanda.
