September 12, 2025 promises to be an unforgettable evening. For the first time, the CineMusic orchestra will play in Amsterdam. We will do this at the most beautiful location in the city: the Concertgebouw.
The large CineMusic film orchestra will be joined by the film choir this evening. Together they will play the most beautiful film music from some 20 world-famous films. While you enjoy the music, a shortened version of each film will be shown on the big white screen. The carefully chosen film scenes are edited in such a way that they tell the story and completely immerse you in the atmosphere. In addition, the film scenes run synchronously with the music, which ensures an intense experience of each film.
Host during The Night of CineMusic is René Mioch. He presents the concert show and tells anecdotes about the music, the composers and the directors, giving you a look behind the scenes. Extra special: this evening René Mioch celebrates his fortieth anniversary as a film journalist.
