MUSICALS is pleased to announce that Barbie The Movie: In Concert will premiere at the Palace Hall on June 1. The feature film inspired by the famous Barbie doll, produced by Mattel Inc., will be screened in its entirety, accompanied live by an all-female orchestra, which will perform both the award-winning orchestral score and the pop hits from the iconic soundtrack. The Barbie Land™ Sinfonietta will be conducted by Macy Schmidt, founder of The Sinfonietta. Included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Schmidt orchestrated this special concert and recently became the first black female orchestrator in Broadway history.
