There’s No Planet B Concert
National Children's Orchestra conducted by Matthew Quinn - Bridgewater Hall
Program Info: Join the amazing 12 and 13 year olds of NCO (National Children’s Orchestras) as they present to you their There’s No Planet B programme, featuring orchestral greats like Jean Sibelius’ Finlandia and Gustav Holst’s Jupiter from The Planets, alongside stirring new music from Debbie Wiseman (Carnival of the Endangered Animals) and Rachel Portman’s (Endangered).
You’ll hear directly from NCO’s young musicians as they share what this music, and the environment, means to them.
It’s also this orchestra’s final performance this year with NCO, following their summer residential of rehearsals, creative sessions and more. You can expect a warm, welcoming audience and to be dazzled and inspired by really remarkable young musicians.
