Junior Film Music Concert
Polish Radio Orchestra and the Warsaw University of Technology Choir conducted by Maciej Sztor - COS Torwar Hall
Program Info: On 14.02.2026 and 8.03.2026, a spectacular Music Concert will be held at the Torwar hall in Warsaw. Filmowa. The Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw and the Warsaw University of Technology Choir conducted by Maciej Sztor will perform songs from the films "The Lion King", "How to Train Your Dragon", "Harry Potter", "Kung Fu Panda" Fu Panda", "Frozen", "Madagascar" and many others. The solo parts will be sung by soloist Anna Lasota, and the narration will be led by Magda Miśka-Jackowska.
Compositions performed live by choir and orchestra, illustrated with film fragments and famous film frames, will present symphonic music in an accessible way and guarantee unforgettable musical emotions for the youngest, and for parents it will be an opportunity to return to the magical the world of childhood.
The concert will present works by outstanding composers such as Hans Zimmer, John Williams, John Powell, Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz and Alan Silvestri, the most distinguished prestigious world awards. Their music, combined with cult films that have been watched millions of viewers around the world will recall timeless stories and values such as: goodness, nobility, courage, friendship and love.
»"The Lion King" is one of the greatest soundtracks. A brilliant invention the compositional one harmonizes with the image, conveying the deepest and most sincere emotions. The combination of rythm African music with European musical language works perfectly not only in film but also and at the concert. Hans Zimmer included his entire attitude to music in it, combining fun with personal experiences. In the song "Madagascar" you can hear the continuation of this fun" - sums up Maciej Sztor.
The concert will also be a great opportunity for the youngest to develop their musical skills. Skills and together with the orchestra, under the conductor's baton, perform a piece from the film in the finale "Madagascar"! Everyone can bring their favorite instruments or percussion elements, such as such as: tambourines, rattles, bongos, drums, and even two sticks - because everything can be used to create sound.
