Krzysztof Komeda - Polish composer of film music, jazzman, who during his too short life composed music of up to 65 films. His fame reached Hollywood where he wrote the most music to Roman Polański's films. His music also appeared in the films of other outstanding film directors Andrzej Wajda, Andrzej Kondratiuk and Jerzy Skolimowski.
Komeda was a great jazz musician cooperating with the greatest stars of Polish jazz, which included Tomasz Stańko, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Zbigniew Namysłowski. In the 1950s and 1960s he was a frequent guest of the most important European jazz scenes.
Komeda Inspiration is a project of three wonderful musicians. Anna Serafińska, Robert Majewski and Jan Bokszczan. Anna Serafińska and Robert Majewski belong to the elite of Polish jazz, while Jan Bokszczanin is one of the most important personalities in the world of Polish organ music and a professor at the University of Music.
