Corta concert with Russian works and Italian cinema
The program will open with a piano concert by one of the most innovative Russian composers in history: Alexander Scriabin. Expressive and romantic in its intention, this concert will be interpreted by the distinguished Uruguayan pianist Matías Ferreyra. Then, the orchestra is immersed in the world of Italian cinema through the moving music of the film Cinema Paradiso, written by Ennio Morricone. The concert will culminate with the sixth symphony of Shostakovich; One of his most introspective and lyrical works.
